How can we improve Duplicate Remover or Duplicate Killer?

Create a backup folder of corrected items incase of mistake

If an item was deleted and you need to recover have these items placed in a backup folder until emptied.

Include a way to deal with a contact name that includes husband and wife first names.

I often have contacts like "Steve & Tammy Smith" and "Steve Smith" and "Tammy Smith" and "Tamara Smith" etc. I would like a way to find these "duplicates" and either merge them all together as "Steve & Tammy Smith" with all contact info retained, or to separate them all so all "Steve" info is in one and all "Tammy" info is in the other.
