  1. Let me set this up on two computer associated with the same email, I have a desk top and a laptop but can only use this with google drive

it would be nice to associate the email address with this software so that many of use can sync home work and on the go, but i can only have it on one computer. also it would be nice to sync docs with google drive

  2. Trial period should be longer or extended when technical difficulties are reported

My initial install would not sync recurring events from Outlook. A tech call resolved that but created a new problem which is not yet resolved and now my 14 trial is ended and I don't actually know if the product will meet my needs and need to commit to a year without knowing or try another product.

  3. Ongoing problem with "failed synchronisation"

Prior to using UserVoice here off your web site, I have sent two support requests to the "support@4team.biz" email address referenced on your web site. So far, I have not even had a reply to confirm that you received the email. So, here goes with another request:

I recently purchased Sync2, and use it on a corporate Windows7 box to push calendar syncs from Outlook into Google Calendar. The app works great, except for one major problem. It only syncs for a short period of time (< 5mis or so) and then it ceases to work. This makes…

  7. Give more control over all-day events when changing time zones

With the previous version of Sync2, all-day events (in at least one of the calendars) are treated as Midnight to Midnight in a particular time zone. When traveling and changing time zones the events "walk" into the previous or next day. I've had repeating annual events such as holidays or birthdays end up on three separate days. This is tricky but needs some control to define the desired behavior. I had to turn off Sync2 finally to stop this damage to the calendars.

  8. Recursive sub directories. Handle settings on folders better for large PSTs

I have nearly 100 folders in my PST. With sync2 if I want to change a filter like "Only sync the last 3 days" I have to do this 100 times!

Every time I add a folder I have to go in and make all the same changes again.

How about "recursive" option... Sync this folder AND EVERY FOLDER UNDER IT. Then when I add/delete folders in Outlook it would AUTOMATICALLY sync those folders..

Who here found months later the new folder the office lady put in was not Sync'd because she didn't know she has to do a whole…

  10. Proxy server compatible

I bought a version of sync2 after the free first update the company laptop connected to the internet by proxy would not connect to google. So i reverted back to the previous version. Is the latest version able to handle this proxy? Do i have to buy the new version?
    Regards Rene

  11. Not overwrite the "display as" field in Outlook

The "display as" field in Outlook is the field that displays in the To box whenever an email is created in Outlook so you know who you are sending the email to. You can also sort your sent email by that field in case you need to find an old email you sent to someone. When creating a new contact, Outlook by default, fills this field in with the contacts name and, in parenthesis, his email address. Every time an Outlook contact is updated based on a change in Google contacts this "display as" field is overwritten with the contacts…

  14. Sync outlook contacts/calendar with iCloud (in addition to Google)

With the prevalence of iOS devices and the growing ease of using iCloud among them, having SYNC2 able to connect Outlook to this world would be most useful.

  15. Allow for multiple sync schedule for a profile

It will be great to allow for multiple sync schedule attached to a single profile. I do not want to do frequent recurring sync like every 12 hours, but becase of the nature of syncing 2 PC , I need to specify 2 sync timing , say 12pm and 1pm, so that both PC can sync with each others as both PC will update the outllok file concurrently.

  18. Make it easier to merge e-mail, contacts and tasks using Google as well as 4Team FTP

Seems you have to choose between Google or 4Team FTP server. I want to sync my contacts and calendar with Google (usable with Android devices), and my e-mail via server between 2 PCs. Is this possible?

  19. Use contact’s "Category" field to sync a subset with Google.

Would be most useful for mobiles. Now I need separate contact folders with dup entries if I only want to sync a subset of my entire contacts list. This is difficult to keep and error-prone. Instead, I could just have a category/tag called "mobile" to flag the contacts I want to share with Google Contacts. This could work both ways for new contacts from Google.

  20. Offer better solutions to multiple computer users as many are now using several computers for the same person in one house

I have several computers in my house and don't want to buy a license for every one just so I can view my Outlook in my office, living room, kitchen, etc.
